We are inviting you to submit ideas for an alternative LACMA Building for the Permanent Collections, one that would expand gallery space, rather than shrink it, one that will actually offer a home for the collections as well as all services needed to showcase and care for the collections. Why do women architects matter? How do career and human life cycles intersect, interfere and inform each other? What has been your experience as a woman in architecture? What obstacles have you overcome, or not? How are you living your vision for the future? We invite you to explore these questions and more... Photo © Cameron Blaylock/courtesy of Van Alen Institute.
